Manila, Philippines – September 16, 2011 – In its pursuit to uphold its principles of transparency, accuracy and timeliness, Jetti Petroleum, Inc. has partnered with Genie Technologies, Inc. and Microsoft Philippines and has acquired Microsoft Dynamics NAV to further carry out the company’s mission in providing efficient and reliable service to its partners and customers.

“Jetti Petroleum, Inc. is pleased to be here for the launching of our partnership with Microsoft Philippines through the Microsoft Dynamics NAV project. In its mission to implement a positive development in the petroleum industry, Jetti has endeavored to be an efficient organization and a transparent corporate citizen. A new accounting system will definitely provide us the tools to serve our customers with greater effectiveness and efficacy. Our partners will definitely place greater trust on us because of improved reliability in our transactions,” said Mr. Joselito Magalona, President of Jetti Petroleum, Inc. during the official project kick-off held at the Microsoft Philippines headquarters. “Amongst all the prospective providers, Microsoft stood out as the best company that met all our requirements. We are convinced that our company will prosper through this partnership,” stated Mr. Magalona.

Incorporated in 1998, Jetti Petroleum, Inc. is a 100% Filipino-owned company engaged in the importation, blending and distribution of petroleum products. The company currently has two bulk terminals: the Naic Bulk Terminal which occupies a 3-hectare land along the coastal town of Naic, Cavite with a capacity of sixteen million liters and the Tagoloan Bulk Terminal in Misamis Oriental which has a total fuel storage capacity of forty-six million liters, equipped with a fully-fitted wharf for receiving fuels from international vessels. The company has also expanded its reach through its dealership program and now has numerous branches not just in Luzon but all over the country, with locations as far as Davao, General Santos City and Bukidnon.

“A relatively short existence in the petroleum industry does not mean that a company cannot engage in big impact projects with corporate giants. We have learned that Jetti is one of the first, if not the first, in the petroleum industry to engage with Microsoft in this endeavor. Our competitors have engaged with your competitors. We are faced with the challenge to make this partnership work and we are determined to do so,” Mr. Magalona emphasized.

“We believe that the synergy between our two companies would be the product of the dynamism of each other’s people. Microsoft, as a strong global leader in the field of information technology and Jetti, as an emerging force in the Philippine petroleum industry, provides a unique opportunity in national economic development. To this end, we at Jetti look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Microsoft Philippines,” Mr. Magalona concluded.
